FAQ

Questions we often hear

Straight answers about who we are, what we build and how an engagement works.

What does Greentech Future Energy Solutions do?
Greentech Future Energy Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. (GFESPL) develops, owns and operates Wind, Solar and Wind-Solar Hybrid renewable energy projects in India. We cover the full project lifecycle: land and grid connectivity, statutory approvals, commercial structuring, financing, EPC coordination, construction, commissioning and long-term operations and maintenance (O&M).
Where is Greentech based, and where do you work?
Our office is at A-710, KP Epitome, Makarba, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 380051. We have executed wind turbine erection, advisory and electrical infrastructure work across Gujarat and Maharashtra, and we develop renewable projects for clients across India.
What is a captive or group captive power project?
In a captive power project, an energy consumer owns the generating plant and uses its electricity. In a group captive project, several consumers share ownership. Under India’s Electricity Rules, 2005, captive users must together hold at least 26% of the plant’s ownership and consume at least 51% of the electricity it generates each year. We help industrial clients structure wind, solar and hybrid plants under captive, group captive or third-party models.
What is a wind-solar hybrid power plant?
A wind-solar hybrid plant combines wind turbines and solar panels that share land and a grid connection. Because solar generates during the day and wind often blows strongest at other times, the combined output is steadier than either source alone, and sharing transmission lowers the cost of connecting to the grid.
How can my company work with Greentech?
We offer four engagement models: Advisory (fee-based), Development Partner (retainer or success fee), EPC & Execution (lump-sum or item-rate) and Lifecycle Support (AMC or managed service). They can be combined into one coordinated pathway from investment decision to operational handover.
How does a project with Greentech start?
Every engagement follows four stage gates: Discover, De-risk, Deliver and Sustain. In Discover we review your objectives, site, demand, land, grid and commercial priorities, then share a project concept note and feasibility scope, an execution roadmap and commercial model, and a responsibility matrix with milestones and decision gates.
Who leads Greentech Future Energy Solutions?
The company is led by Founder & Managing Director Dr. Vipul Jambucha, who has 28+ years in renewable energy with past leadership roles at EDF Renewables, Vestas, Suzlon and Agrocel, and Head of Business Development Navin Patel, who has 22+ years in technology, SCADA and industrial automation.
